No Objection Certificate (N.O.C)

Application for NOC or for affiliation of new courses should be made by the concerned Trust/Society/Institution only in respect of these courses which are recognized by the Statutory Bodies as UG/PG level to the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education on or before 31st August of the year proceeding the academic year in which the institution is proposed to be established along with the documents required therein. 

  • The inspection Committee shall inspect the building Infrastructure. Library. Laboratory and other facilities are available as per AlCTE/UGC norms.
  • The Departmental Inspection Committee consists of  three faculty members selected from willing officials of all colleges for each inspection, with the approval of the Secretary to Govt. (Education)
  • The inspection Committee shall inspect the site and recommendation along with the checklist also send the proposal to the Education Secretariat on or before 31s October of every year.
  • The Institute may be granted NOC for a period of 3 years validity
  • The Committee shall examine the proposal and inspect the infrastructural facilities available before formal permission is accorded. The college can be started only after the formal permission from the Government of Puducherry is given and admission can commence only after the formal permission has been given by the affiliated university/ NCTE/AICTE /Technical Board concerned
  • However, if at any stage the concerned department of State Government feels that NOC is not justified the issuance of such NOC may be revoked.
  • The Committee shall examine the proposal and inspect the infrastructural facilities available before formal permission is accorded. The college can be started only after the formal permission from the Government of Puducherry is given and admission can commence only after the formal permission has been given by the affiliated University/NCTE/AICTE /Technical Board concerned.
